Rapidly merchandise Vision X products on Shopify using the Matrixify app

VisionXOffroad.com is powered by Shopify. To assist merchants on Shopify that wish to rapidly merchandise our brand, we've documented a quick process below that can get you up and running in about an hour.

We recommend this Matrixify-based approach instead of Shopify’s built-in product export/import because it brings products, images, and collections into your store cleanly and reliably, without broken images or manual rework.
It’s the simplest way to get a complete, ready-to-sell Vision X catalog that behaves like native products in your own Shopify store.

You'll need at least a "Basic" subscription to the Matrixify app ($20/mo) to use this process for the full catalog, but you can turn off the app in months you're not loading items if you wish to save money. For a one-time onboarding, this is the simplest process.

We recommend you test this process in a staging store or back up your product and collection database BEFORE running these steps below so that you can revert if needed.

The below process is offered at your own risk and should be carried out by experienced Shopify administrators only.

1) Install the Matrixify app to your store and purchase at least a "Basic" subscription

2) Contact Us to obtain the latest Matrixify Product Catalog files. The timestamp of the file is in the filename. We usually update the files once a month, but we update them more frequently when we release major new products.

Note: We generate these files in Matrixify by exporting "Collections" and “Products (with all linked images and metafields)”.

3) Import the files into your store using Matrixify:

• • Go to Apps → Matrixify → Import.
  • Import Smart Collections first, then Custom Collections. This creates all the collection shells (with handles matching your source store).
  • Upload the Products file (VisionX_Full_Catalog_Export_For_Shopify_Merchants_YYYY-MM-DD_Matrixify.xlsx). Unselect "Transliterate Handles to English alphabet" during import.
  • Wait for Matrixify to analyze the file.
  • Click Import (this may take about an hour to complete).

👉 Result: Products, images, and collections all come across cleanly.
