Stay Ready Outdoors was started by Charles and is a law enforcement family-owned business with a simple mission: to equip every adventurer with the tools and knowledge to tackle life’s challenges.

The expedition vehicle of choice is his Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a diesel engine bringing it to life. With 38” Nitto Terra Grappler wrapped around KMC Tank beadlocks; paired with the torque of the diesel engine this big rig will get anywhere you would want it. Out Back he has a Gen1 Patriot Trailer that gets used as the main day camp. There are a lot of cool things that we could focus on in this build, but let’s talk about what we do best, LED lighting.

Vehicle Lighting featuring the Cannon Race Pro Series Driving Lights

Utilized in the cowl position, we mounted the all-new 4.5” CR-7 PRO Series Driving Lights. Offering the most lumen output not only in our legendary Light Cannon range but against anything out in the market today.  The CR-7 Pro boasts a massive 11,900 lumens each and features a unique dual-function design, which made these lights a no-brainer for this build.

Dual Beam Technology, Done Right!

The Dual-Beam Technology lets you choose between a long-range broad spot beam (without the X-Lens) or a perfected combo driving beam pattern (with the X-Lens). The modular Snap-On X-Lens allows you to customize the beam shape and color on the fly, offering interchangeable center output colors in white, amber, or selective yellow. Plus, the DRL Glow Mode independently drives the center LEDs at a reduced intensity, providing a daytime running light effect. Whether you are driving into camp late at night at low speeds, or racing through the desert, the Cannon Race Pro series has a configuration to match your ever-changing terrain.

First Look At The CR-14 Pro: The Bigger, Brighter Driving Light

Above the Superwinch on the front bumper, we have three of our unreleased 6.7” CR-14 Pro lights. This is the big brother to the CR-7 Pro, also running the X-Lens system for on-the-go beam and color options. With a 6.7” frame and 14 LEDs throwing a massive 15,500 lumens (ea) down range you’ll have a hard time outpacing these lights. Missing the look of a light bar? The Cannon Race Pro (CR-PRO) series brings back that style in a unique way with the DRL; once you start stacking them side by side to create a ghost light bar effect. Coming summer of 2025 stay tuned!

All New Dual Color Scene Light

Outback is the Patriot GEN1 camper trailer. The Australian-made off-road camper trailer is built to conquer any terrain, so you can go further and explore more without compromising on comfort or convenience. With that in mind you know there are going to be long nights to get to the camp site so stationary scene lighting is a must as well.

To keep the camp-site well-lit and safe we made use of our new version of the already popular Surface Mount Scene light. The 6” model offers a switchable Red or Amber LED option, alongside a crystal-clear white output, allowing you to adjust your scene lighting on the fly. For maximum brightness, the white mode illuminates your work area with clarity. If you prefer a softer light, the red or amber mode reduces eye strain and minimizes wildlife disturbance—ideal for outdoor adventures.

Slim, Style, and a Must Have for Any Overland Rig

Designed with a sleek, low-profile flush mount, this fixture remains streamlined and out of the way. Fully sealed and potted for waterproof performance, it eliminates the need for bulky floodlights that are prone to damage. The snap-on end caps provide quick, easy access to the mounting points, making installation a breeze. Built to withstand the elements, the surface-mount scene light features a durable die-cast aluminum construction and a fully potted backside to prevent water or dirt ingress. It’s sure to withstand the ultimate adventure.

We have already conquered King of the Hammers a couple of Overland shows with even more on the calendar. Can’t wait to see what else we can stir up together in the future. It was a great opportunity to work with Stay Ready Outdoors, get back to our roots and outfit an awesome offroad vehicle.
